Top 4 Roads That you Need to Ride Once in Your Lifetime

Today’s Blog post is written by Dewayne Jasper who has been riding for over 6 years and currently rides a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R and had a pleasing experience throughout the tour, breath taking scenic views.

We all have that one motorcycle trip that we’ve been planning for years. You may have dreamt of going to Europe, riding through villages centuries old on your dream bike, or just enjoying a scenic ride through the Grand Canyon. If you need help planning your next motorcycle trip, here is a list of our favorite roads you should consider riding at least once in your lifetime.

Pacific Coast Highway

The Pacific Coast Highway, also affectionately known as PCH, goes from the top of Oregon down to the bottom of California. PCH provides unmatched views of forests, beaches, cliffs, and everything else nature has to offer. Since the highway spans across most of the U.S. West Coast, it’s okay if you only ride part of it. We personally recommend hitting up Big Sur and going up the coast as far as you can go. Check out Olympic Park, one of America’s most beautiful national parks.

Hwy 1

Hwy 1, one of Florida’s most beautiful highways, runs from Key Largo to Key West. You start inland and begin traveling through an intricate series of bridges, then through a series of small islands. We enjoy this ride because you get to enjoy the beautiful blue reefs and waterways while riding. You can enjoy staying at one of the many tourist destinations along this highway as well.

Blue Ridge Parkway

Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most famous east coast roads. Riders can enjoy 469 miles of scenic riding. Scattered through Blue Ridge Parkway are plenty of lodging options, including camp grounds if you enjoy the outdoors. Experience the beautiful back country of North Carolina.  Be careful though, as this is a destination favorite for many bikers across the US. Many accidents and crashes happen here, so check the park schedule and avoid the busy season. Always wear proper motorcycle gear to get there and don’t forget to use some luggage options to carry important items while on two wheels.

Going-to-the-Sun-Road

Going-to-the-Sun-Road is one of Alaska’s best kept secrets. This 50 mile road allows you to enjoy all that Alaska’s beauty has to offer. Enjoy breath taking views and wild life that can’t be found anywhere else in the U.S. The road itself is a short ride; however, you have to take plenty of stops if you truly want to the “Crown Jewel of the Continent.”  Be sure to bring binoculars so you can encounter wildlife up close and personal.
