It's Bike Week: Be On The Lookout For Bikers

Drive Safely During Bike Week

Daytona Bike Week has officially begun! Hundreds of thousands of attendees travel to Daytona every year for this exciting festival of events. But too often, riders and drivers are in a hurry.

Tips for Driving Safely

  1. Stay alert. Motorcycles can be difficult to see in your blind spots, when pulling out into traffic or when crossing a lane of traffic. For the next 10 days, stay alert and look for bikers.
  2. Share the road. We all want to get to the fun, but putting extra space between you and the vehicle in front of you can save lives. And remember that motorcyclists may need to swerve to avoid pot holes, debris and bumps — something we often take for granted when driving a car or truck.
  3. Be kind and have fun. Road rage, following too close and speeding can all have fatal consequences. Take a moment (and a deep breath) and relish in plethora of activities you can enjoy at Daytona Bike Week.

From everyone at 911 Biker Law and the Law Offices of Michael B. Brehne, P.A., we hope you have a wonderful time in Daytona!
