Gua'kia 5K - Sep. 12

Florida Puerto Rican Parade Inc. is hosting the Gua'kia 5K on Sunday, September 12th, at the Park of the Americas. The course is on a 5K paved circuit that starts in the Park of the Americas and loops around Lake Underhill Park. Grab-and-go water/support tables will be located in three spots throughout the course so runners can stay hydrated and finish the run strong. Children and youth races will be held as well, and awards will be given out by age group for the top three overall males and females. Registration is from 6:00 am–7:00 am, and there's no entry fee, so feel free to come participate. We look forward to seeing you there!

Gala Awards Dinner - Sep. 16

The Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival's Gala/Scholarship Awards will be held on Thursday, September 16, at the DoubleTree by Hilton At SeaWorld, 101000 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32821. Stop by and enjoy an evening celebrating Puerto Rican exceptionalism in academia and enjoy delicious, traditional food and live entertainment provided by special guests. The reception is at 6:00 pm, and the Awards Dinner/Scholarship Presentation will begin at 7:00 pm. Tickets are only $125 per person.
