5 Must-Dos At Biketoberfest 2019

5 Must-Dos At Biketoberfest 2019

Get ready to celebrate freedom and the open road! For the second time this year — following in the success of March’s Bike Week — Daytona Beach will be home to motorcycle enthusiasts from all across the country Oct. 18–21. This year’s festivities will include plenty to see and do — from the now traditional Motorcycle Swap Meet & Bike Show to live performances by glam metal band, Warrant. Before you decide on which events to attend, though, check out this list of the top 5 Biketoberfest events this year, courtesy of motorcycle lawyers at 911 Biker Law.

Motorcycle Swap Meet & Bike Show — Daytona Flea and Farmers Market

As with every year, Jam-On Productions’ Swap Meet & Bike Show will be the highlight of many attendees. It is simply the right place and time to get the best deals on new and used parts, bond with fellow bikers, and have a laugh from the occasional unprompted bartering. There will also be live music, daily Wall-of-Death free shows, countless food and drink vendors, and, if you are lucky, you might catch an autograph from Dirt Drag Champion legend Paul Plummer! The event starts on Oct. 17, one day before the festival even begins, and runs through Oct. 20, so you have plenty of time to upgrade your sweet ride.

Motorcycle Racing — Daytona International Speedway

The sensation of two-wheeled, high-speed racing action returns to the Daytona International Speedway! Famously named “The World Center of Racing”, this venue features the largest motorcycle marketplace in the area carrying the nation’s top aftermarket product vendors. Daily speedway races will take place throughout the weekend including the Championship Cup Series (CCS) on Saturday and Sunday. Attending this event is an opportunity you should not pass, especially if you are attending with your family (kids 12 and under can enjoy free admission to the event all weekend). Even better, RV camping as well as tent camping will be available within the venue’s infield for those who reserve early.

2019 Dunlop Florida Fall Classic — Volusia Speedway Park

If you can travel a few miles west of Daytona Beach, the Inaugural Florida Fall Classic, presented by Flat Track Futures, is another highlight you should not miss. From Oct. 18 to Oct. 19, the super-fast Volusia Speedway will host open practice, live music, and the Flat Truck Futures Summit two-day, non-stop party with lots of bike racing, live entertainment and music. The venue will also allow for RV and tent camping for those looking to stay the night away from the crowds back in Daytona Beach.

Big Wheel Women Sound Off And Red Carpet Event — Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach

Motorcycle manufacturer, Big Wheel Women, is hosting a Sound Off Rematch and full scale red carpet event at the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach. They are also going to be offering sound-off classes ranging from lightweight (motorcycles with eight speakers or less) to heavy weight rides with 15 speakers or more. If you enjoy the gritty sound of a mean ride, this is one opportunity you should not pass. Make sure you reserve a ticket before they are sold out.

The Beach — Ponce Inlet & Daytona Beach Shores

Chances are you’ve already visited the gorgeous beaches that make Daytona Beach famous, but what better time to experience the ocean breeze than Biketoberfest? Just like downtown, Daytona’s beachfront will be lively with hotels, resorts, and restaurants jumping in on the motorbike hype. Check out the Full Throttle Magazine Annual Boardwalk Bike Show on Friday for one of the best competition shows in the area. If you are planning on participating in this or other contests, make sure you check out the full list of participation requirements and sign up early enough.
